Versatile Mounting
This Mount can also be used for mounting various 3-Axis camera gimbals or remote heads on to a Female Mitchell mount, e.g. vibration isolator arms like Proaim Airwave Arm.
The Mount has four threaded screw holes in its base, which connects with the Vibration Isolator system base.
The castle nut with four notches and threaded fitting for tightening offers an exceptionally stable platform for camera setups.

The Proaim Michell Mount plate is very well made. The castle nut turns well. I purchased this item on speculation that it would work to mount my Vinten head to the Mitchell base tripod. The Vinten head I got has a flat bottom with 4 mounting holes. I needed the head to mount to a Mitchell mount. I thought this plate might work. It is the perfect size for what I needed. The holes are not the same as the Vinten holes, but a machine shop can drill holes with the right spacing. Instead of a $881 Vinten item, this item will work great for around $85. Proaim was very good at answering my questions and sending diagrams with the hole size and spacing to help with my decision. Also, the Proaim Mitchell mount heavy duty tripod I got was very well made and a great match for this item. I’m happy with my purchase.
Is this compatible with your Movi XL quick release (QR-MOXL)
The Proaim Mitchell Male Mount with Castle Nut is not compatible with the Proaim Movi XL Quick Release.
Would this work with the DJi ronin 2 universal mount?

The Proaim Mitchell Male Mount with Castle Nut for Vibration Isolator MP-MTCL will work with the ronin 2 mount with help of nuts and bolts.Allen Bolt size is M6*20mm and the Nylon lock nut is 6mm. These can be purchased locally.
Is the center hole of the plate threaded and if it is what size is it threaded for?
